Misty Kay Shaw

Misty Kay Shaw, went to heaven October 8th, 2020, at the age of 44. Misty was born October 22, 1975 in Kalamazoo, MI. The daughter of Robert Douglas Shaw and Connie Sue Smith. She is survived by her 6 children Destiny Janey Wood, Desiree Monique Wood, Faith Alexis Allen, Kaylee Bree Allen, Jerney Marie Shaw and Connor Douglas Shaw. Her (gb's -grand babies) granddaughter Samariah Marie Ivey, grandson Jewlius Alva Wood, grandson Kingston Elisha Gowen. Sister Michelle Shaw-Braden (Chris), brother Christopher Shaw (Kirsten), sister Lisa Vaillancourt (Nate) and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Three Rivers High School, attended Us Navy Basic Training, Wright Beauty Academy and KVCC. Misty was very artistic and creative, she loved designing her own clothing and jewelry. She had a passion for music and wrote poems to be published. She made it known that she loved her family proudly and fiercely.
Misty also had a curious and adventurous nature and loved to travel and meet new people. Those who have met Misty most remember her for natural stunning beauty, she was funny, charming, and truly genuine. She had a very strong Godly faith. She will forever be missed by all who knew her. She was taken too soon but God needed her more than us! She was a soul that never can be replaced. She was one of the most forgiving people to ever been created.
