WILSON, Mildred I. of Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007, at home in Kalamazoo. Mildred was born in Danville, IL on August 16, 1914 to the late Steele S. and Mary Gray Bowles. She was preceded in death by husbands, Carl W. Wilson and Adelbert Tolle. Mildred loved and was devoted to her family, above all else. She was an active volunteer for the Red Cross, Borgess Hospital and for Park Village Pines. She is survived by her six children: Norman Donna Wilson of South Bend, IN, Shirley Andy Stillman of Kalamazoo, Kenneth Wilson of Eagle, CO, Marjorie Robert Hirsch of Kalamazoo, Phillip Wilson of Kalamazoo and Debra Charles Smith of Kalamazoo; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Edith Bowles and Connie Fish, and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by brothers, Gerald Fish, Jr. and Harry Bowles; step-father Gerald Fish Sr., daughter-in-law Pat Wilson, step-grand-daughter Tina Hirsch, and dear friend Clarence. The family would like to offer their thanks and gratitude to Mildred?s hospice nurse, Sheri as well as her morning caregiver, Jennifer. A Celebration of Mildred?s life will take place on Friday at 11:00AM, May 18, 2007, at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, Rev. Knute Jacobson, officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Parkinson?s Disease Research Fund, Dept. of Neurology, U of M Medical Center 1914 Taubman Ctr., 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48109 or Hospice of SW Michigan.
