GRAY, Mildred L. Gayle
Portage, Michigan Age 91 of Portage, MI and formerly of Pinelake Village in Jenson Beach, passed away after an extended illness at her residence in Portage, MI. Mildred was born July 27, 1916 in Coshocton, OH. She received her teaching degree from Muskingham College in Ohio and taught at the Coshocton Public Schools in Ohio for 2 years. She was married for 48 years to her husband Eugene Gray, who preceded her in death in 1985. She and Eugene moved to Pinelake Village in Jenson Beach where they resided for 32 years and where Mildred enjoyed square dancing, directing the Christmas Pageants and planning the trips for the residents. She was also a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Jenson Beach. Surviving are a daughter Carole Cook and husband Ken of Kalamazoo, MI and a brother James Landis of Madison, GA. Cremation has taken place. The family will plan a memorial service to be held at a later date. Private inurnment of cremated remains will be in All Saints Cemetery in Jenson Beach.
