SODDY, Michelle L.
of Portage, Michigan Passed away Wednesday morning, March 14, 2012. Michelle was born May 13, 1969 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Chuck Wildt and Marlene Thorpe Mitchell. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed cooking and collecting turtle things. Michelle had a creative mind, and most of all, loved spending time with her family. On September 7, 2002 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, Brian Soddy, who survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Savanna Cope, Alexis Soddy; her mother, Marlene Lyle "Poppy" Mitchell; her father, Chuck Beth Wildt; brother and sister, Aaron Cope, Linnea Scott Wood; extended brothers, Matt Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Cale Wildt, Wylie Wildt, Vance Wildt; and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Michelle's life will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, March 21 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre. Interment will follow in Covert Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8pm at the Portage Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
