Formerly of Kalamazoo Died Sunday morning October 18, 2009 at her residence. Michelle was born April 4, 1971 in South Bend, Indiana a daughter of Donald and Donna Smith Luce. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident before moving to Lennon, MI 13 years ago. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna in 2001. She is survived by her father, Donald Luce of Kalamazoo; her daughter, MaKayla Luce of Lennon, MI; a brother, Donald Desiree Luce of Kalamazoo; a sister, Christina Luce of Kalamazoo; her maternal grandmother, Harriet Smith of Parchment; her partner, Mary Ann Posante of Lennon, MI; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 3 o'clock Saturday at the Word For Life Church, 7022 East Michigan. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the MaKayla's educational fund.
