Michael Joseph Hill, affectionately known as Doogie, unexpectedly left us on June 28, 2024 at the age of 50. Born and raised in Parchment, Michigan, he attended Parchment Schools. Doogie touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter, unwavering kindness and zest for life.
A free spirit at heart, Doogie found solace in the great outdoors. Whether it was hiking through lush forests, camping under the stars or simply breathing in the fresh air; he cherished every moment spent in nature. His close-knit group of friends shared countless adventures, creating memories that will forever echo in their hearts.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Hill; grandparents, James (Frances) Moore, Tillie Hill and Ruby Householder; brothers, Kevin Hill and Carl Hill. He is survived by his loving family, his mother, Shirley Hill-Worline; daughter, Makenna Hill; grandson, Amias Hill; brothers, Randy Hill, Don (Amanda) Hill and Tom Hill; sisters, Elizabeth (Timothy) Little, Shari Hill and Patricia Hill; sister-in-law. Carrie Hill; bonus step siblings, Bob (Rikki) Wilson, Lisa (Brad) Nelson, Laurie (Bob) Keehne, Leslie (Jerry) Medley and Craig Worline; true friends, Kimberly Young, Kurt Bunch, Judy Wilder and Haylee Young-Wilder.
A celebration of life will be held at 736 E. Crosstown Parkway from 3pm to 6pm on Friday, July 12 2024.
May Doogie’s memory continue to inspire us to live life fully and embrace each moment. Rest in Peace son, brother, father, grandfather and dear friend.
