Merriel A. Kramer

KRAMER, Mrs. Merriel A. Kalamazoo Merriel Kramer passed away Sunday evening, September 2, 2007, in Kalamazoo. Merriel was born April 12, 1919, in Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter of Herman and Reca Weyland Poel and had been a life long area resident. She was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church. On September 13, 1941, Merriel was united in marriage with Thomas Kramer, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2005. Merriel was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna VanDyk. Surviving are: two children and their spouses, Don Linda Kramer of Galesburg and Andrea Jerry Vermeulen of Kalamazoo; seven grandchildren, Kristi David Corwin of Kalamazoo, Tim Lisa Vermeulen of Portage, Sara Ryan Hardin of Marne, Michael Bonnie Kramer of Gobles, Ryan Kramer of Kalamazoo, Greg Williams of Florida and Tony Crystal Williams of CA; seven great-grandchildren, Jarod, Alec & Seth Corwin, Ashlee Walker, Breanna Vermeulen, Isabel Hardin and Kacie Kramer; two brothers, Clarence Poel and Andy Poel; a brother in law, George Ida Kramer; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. A memorial service will be held 11:00 Thursday morning at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 1724 Whites Rd, with the Rev. Dr. Joseph A. Brinks and the Rev. Dr. Harry Arnold officiating. Private burial will be held in Mount Ever- Rest Cemetery. Memorials should be directed to Grace Christian Reformed Church or the Kalamazoo Christian School Association
