HENRY, May E.
Of Kalamazoo Passed away February 3, 2010 at Upjohn Nursing Home. May was born on March 14, 1915 in Martin, MI, a daughter of William and Nancy Smith Woodman. She was a member of Bethel Reformed Church for many years and served the church as Sunday School teacher and worked with their food bank. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester W. Henry in 1983 and by her parents and a brother William Woodman. Surviving are 2 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ragan and Betty Blue; 3 nephews, Gary Sandi Ragan and their children Eric and Katie, Richard Blue and his son Ryan and Ronald Blue and 2 nieces. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. David Armstrong officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in May's memory may be made to Bethel Reformed Church. The family would like to thank the staff at the Upjohn Community Care Center and Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan for the care they extended to May.
