McCOLPIN, Maxine B.
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Maxine passed away early Friday morning, September 6, 2013. She was born on August 24, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Frank and Wilhelmina Stamm Guetschow. On August 29, 1941, Maxine was united in marriage to Robert "Moe" McColpin, who preceded her in death on March 26, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Russell Guetschow. Surviving are three children, Linda Mike Csom of Kalamazoo, Robert McColpin of Salem, OR, and Carole Dennis Shepard of Portage; seven grandchildren, Kelly Csom, Michael Sheri Csom, Lorri Brian Neel, Matthew Csom, Jodee Johnson, Corey Johnson, and Janeen Barnett; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Frank Joyce Guetschow of Portage and Karl JoAnn Guetschow of Tennessee and many nieces and nephews. Honoring her request, there will be no public visitation or service. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
