Portage, MI Marymargaret entered her heavenly home, Monday night, February 2, 2009, Marymargaret was born December 17, 1930 in Tiffin, Ohio, a daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Stuart Proxmire. She graduated with an R.N. degree from Bronson Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. That same year, she married her husband of 55 years, Kenneth R. Warren, Jr., who survives. Prior to her retirement, Marymargaret worked at Bronson Hospital and the Simpson Paper Company. She and her husband, along with their 4 children, served as missionaries in the Middle East for the Reformed Church in America, from 1965 to 1970. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and the Bronson School of Nursing Alumni Association. Also surviving are 4 children, Richard Gail Warren of Portage, Robin Lee of Portage, Kenneth Christopher Robin Warren of Holland and David Michelle Warren of Portage; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Joseph Betty Proxmire of Indian Lake, MI and Deming, NM, James Lenora Proxmire of Kalamazoo and John Connie Proxmire of Port St. Lucie, FL; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Janet Proxmire Peterson. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Trinity Reformed Church, 326 W. Cork St. with Rev. Don De Young officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, the Alzheimer's Association or Fountain View of Portage. www.langelands.com 343-1508
