Marykay Boven

BOVEN, Marykay Mattawan Texas Twp. Passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at her home. Marykay was born July 17, 1943 in Paw Paw, MI the daughter of Daniel and Ramona Murray Moyle and was a lifelong resident of the Mattawan area. She graduated from Mattawan High School in 1961 and operated a daycare in her home for 30 years. She loved her family, her church and especially her children, grandchildren and all the dozens and dozens of children in her daycare that she raised. Marykay is survived by her loving husband, Don; her children, Don Tammi Boven, Steve Boven and Nicki Scott Schnurr; her beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Brandi, Jesse, Brandon and Ryan; a sister, Linda Jerry Schuring; three brothers, Dan Barb Moyle, David Moyle and Dick Sharon Moyle; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Calvary Reformed Church, 7829 S. 5th St., with Pastor Jonathon Lamb officiating. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3826 S. 9th St. on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorials may be given to Calvary Reformed Church. A special Thank You to Julie, Chaplain Barb Van Eck and the rest of the Borgess VNA Hospice team, Aunt Marti for being there and the rest of the many people too numerous to count.
