Of Galesburg, Michigan Mrs. Rinehart passed away early Tuesday morning, February 26, 2008 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born January 22, 1920 in New Orleans, LA. On January 6, 1939, Mary Ellen was united in marriage to William L. Rinehart in New Orleans. He preceded her in death in 1978. Surviving are 6 children, William Diane Rinehart of Nipomo, CA, Ronald Margo Rinehart of Holland, Jeanne Dean Petersen of Middleville, Joanne Aubrey Arndt of Perrysburg, OH, Jack Barb Craig Rinehart of Kalamazoo, and John Terrie Rinehart of Mattawan; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Rena Lauve of New Orleans, LA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Rinehart will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street, with Pastor Donald Wendell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Salvation Army.
