Mary J. Reames

REAMES, Mrs. Mary J. Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday evening April 5, 2007. Mary was born July 17, 1925 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Martin and Lina Domine Alman. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Kalamazoo County Health Department for 18 years before retiring. She was also a member of the Gull Lake Area Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert H. Reames on October 5, 2002. She is survived by 4 children, Ruth Bill Brooks of Sanibel, FL, Richard Judy Reames of Allegan, Ann Reames of Starksboro, VT, and Martin Reames of Portage; 4 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister-in-law, Joan Reames of Kalamazoo; and several cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center or the Michigan Diabetes Association.
