Mary Jane Parks

Passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the age 66 at her home. Mary was born November 22, 1957 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Robert and Pauline (Dunnfelder) Richards. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Robert Richards,

On August 16, 1980, she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 43 years, Mike (Parks) who passed away on May 7, 2023. Surviving child, Paula Parks- (Wingo). Her 4 grandchildren, Mikeal, Jaydan, Lauryn, Oliver, as well as Stepson, Jason (Tracy) Parks.

Sister, Clara (Dan) Miller; brother, Milton Richards; and several nieces and nephews.  Sister in-law, Turk Parks (Cari), and Brother in-law, Scott (Jeannie) Parks; several nieces; and her husband’s lifelong friend, Oliver Aldridge.

Mary loved to stay busy when she worked at Westone laboratory and enjoyed the people she became acquainted with. Mary loved going to the casino. Mary enjoyed having her daughter and grandkids over on weekends and she loved her dogs Happy and Sassy. She enjoyed spending time with her sister Clara and looked forward to the time spent during the summers with her here in Michigan. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorials may be directed to the SPCA.
