LOGAN, Mary Kitty
of Kalamazoo Passed away March 24, 2012. She was born June 29, 1914 in Shellmound, TN to the late John and Emma Choate Pyborn. Mary was united in marriage to W. Ira Logan in December of 1934 in S. Pittsburg, TN. Ira preceded her in death in October 25, 1963. She was a longtime resident of Kalamazoo and a longtime member of 12th Street Baptist Church. Surviving Mary are her children, Donald Nancy Logan of Vicksburg, John "Ron" Lola Logan of Portage and Larry Carol Logan of Three Rivers; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister Jackie Red Bowman; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding Mary in death were: 3 grandsons; a brother and 2 sisters. Services will take place Wednesday, 11:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Center Ave., where family will greet friends for 1 hour prior to the service 10-11:00. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
