Mary Ruth Lamkin

LAMKIN, Mary Ruth Passed away May 17, 2012 in Houston, TX at the age of 95. She was born December 22, 1916 in Anderson County, TN to the late Louis Walter and Wilma Pearl Taylor Disney. Mary was united in marriage to Russell J. Lamkin on June 2, 1944. Russell preceded her in death on December 1, 1997. Mary was a longtime member of the Kalamazoo Covenant Church and had a strong faith in God. According to Mary's wish, cremation has taken place. Surviving Mary are her children, Judith K Bullock of Cypress, TX and Jack R. Lamkin of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren, Richard L. Bullock and Deborah L. Wright Steve. A memorial service will take place on June 4th at 1pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Pastor Richard A. Budden officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's name may be made to the Kalamazoo Covenent Church, 5708 East Main, Comstock MI 49004.
