Mary O. Hudson

HUDSON, Mary O. Plainwell Passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007. She was born December 28, 1934 in Ridgely, TN and had lived in the Kalamazoo/Plainwell area for the past 52 years. Mary was a home maker, mother and grandmother, who was a rock for her family and was always available for them. She loved oil painting, construction projects and was an avid animal lover, often taking in strays, both animal and human. Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eddie Hudson; her 5 daughters, Eddy Lester Mayo of Portage, Barbara Richard Tobin of Wayland, Connie Bobby Raven of Saugatuck, Terri Hudson of Plainwell and Carrie Terry Bush of Kalamazoo; a niece, who was raised by Mary, Maryjo Stearns of Hartford, MI; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Pearl Hill and Nora Lee Powell both of Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with Rev. John Vick officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for final expenses.
