HAMBLIN, Mary J.
Of Comstock Mary passed away Friday morning, November 20, 2009 at home. She was born October 22, 1937 in Fonde, Kentucky, the daughter of Elmer and Ethel Hunter Bennett. On May 3, 1954, she was united in marriage to Joe E. Hamblin, who preceded her in death on December 11, 1996. Also preceding her in death were her three sisters, Louise Hatfield, Irene Brimm, and Jewel Prater; and four brothers, Gene, Billy Joe, Clyde and Elmer Jr. Bennett. Surviving are six children, Barbara Joann Larry Kemp of Beloit, WI, Kathy Efrain Maya of Comstock, Wayne Julie Hamblin of Richland, Brenda Tim House of Portage, Linda Ommer Rutherford of Comstock, and Johnny Hamblin of Comstock; three sisters, Onnie Leo Pomicter of Detroit, Ann Emerson Campbell of Frostproof, FL, and Barb RE Rutherford of Detroit; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services for Mary will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Church of God Family Worship Center, 5841 E. H Ave., Rev. Edward L. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Comstock Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday morning from 10 AM until the time of services.
