Mary Lou Goodacre

Mary Lou Goodacre, age 92 of Richland, died on August 26, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice Home. She was born on January 2, 1932, in White Pigeon, Michigan, the daughter of Horace and Florence (Strawser) Perry. She grew up in the White Pigeon area. On July 26, 1962, she married Joseph Goodacre I. They both worked for National Water Lift for 40 years. Mary retired as a quality control inspector. Mary and Joe belonged to the Moose Lodge and to the VFW Post 3030 in Otsego, Michigan. 

Her family includes her children; Sandra Casey and Joseph Goodacre II, her grandchildren; Joseph (Zoe) Goodacre III, Amy Jo (Mitchel) Edwards, and Natalee Wasson, her great-grandchildren; Jaxson Joseph Goodacre, Rylin Goodacre, Weslin Goodacre, Maurice Wasson, Terry Pratt, Tarraya Pratt, and Caleen Pulliman, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Goodacre I, her brother, Dennis Perry, her son-in-law, Joseph Casey, and her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Goodacre. 

Friends may visit with her family on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Location, 622 South Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007, where her service will be held at 12:30 PM.
