Lawton, Michigan Died Wednesday afternoon August 13, 2008. Mary was born January 8, 1922 in Mississippi, Arkansas a daughter of John and Olive Nance Stanfil. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Fleeman on January 22, 1993; 2 daughters, Helen Johnston and Shirley Thornton; a sister; and a brother. She is survived by 2 sons, John Fleeman of Kalamazoo and Ray Fleeman of Lawton, MI; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dolty Gladys Stanfil and Robert Stanfil all of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
