Mary V. Ten Brink

TEN BRINK, Mary V. Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011. Mary was born January 30, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of La Vern and Elma Furst Scott and lived in Kalamazoo for most of her life. After graduating from Kalamazoo Central HS, Mary briefly attended Moody Bible Institute. In 1959 she was united in marriage to Harvey J Ten Brink, who preceded her in death June 4, 2000. Mary is survived by a step-daughter, Diann Fisher of Minneapolis, MN, three step-grandchildren; a niece, Julie Scott of Plainwell and nephew, Jeffrey W. Scott of CA. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue with Pastor John Fisher, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lakeland Reformed Church or Heartland Hospice.
