BALINSKI, Mary H.
of Kalamazoo Passed away Nov. 1, 2010 at her home. Mary was born May 9th, 1915 in Kalamazoo, MI. The daughter of Pareskevia Klotunchik and Konstantine Olinsky. Mary grew up enjoying softball and many sports. She worked in accounting at the Sutherland Paper Company later Brown, then James River for 43 yrs. She enjoyed Russian dancing especially performing with her grandkids. She retired in 1978 and started organizing Senior bowling leagues. She created leagues at Eastland bowl and ended up helping leagues throughout Kalamazoo. Her parents; brothers, Agay, George, Steve, Alex Olinsky; husband Bernard, and son Bernard preceded her in death. Surviving are her grand kids, Steven Barb Balinski of St. Joseph, MI; Suzanne Matt Charlier of Cary, IL; Daugher in-law Mona Balinski of Kalamazoo; Sister in-law Peg Olinsky of Spring Lake, MI; 4 great grandkids, and several nieces/nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 3 - 6:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Hwy. A Funeral mass will take place Monday, 11:00 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 939 Charlotte Ave., Fr. David Grondz, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
