BROWN, Marvin Manuel Of Kalamazoo Marvin passed away Thursday June 21, 2007 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1917 in Sayre, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Eunice Davidson Brown. Marvin worked very hard his whole life, farming in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Michigan; working in steel mill driving truck and for Kalamazoo Paper Company Georgia Pacific. For several years after retiring from the paper company he owned/operated Brown?s Texaco in Otsego, Michigan. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wagonmaker Brown; his parents, Raymond and Eunice Brown; brothers, Alvin O. Brown, James Ray Brown and sister, Opal F. Litten. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. Brown of Paw Paw and Dawn H. Wikel of Kansas; one daughter, Rusty K. Dowling of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Tim E. Dowling of Kalamazoo, Molly Dowling and Clinton D. Crabtree and three great-grandchildren, Rocky, Emma and Cj Crabtree all of Middleville; a special nephew, Mick Lynch. According to his wishes, Mr. Brown has been cremated. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday June 30 in the mausoleum chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
