Dan passed away Monday morning, October 16, 2017 at home. He was born February 7, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of the late Martin and Frances (Swenson) McDermott, Sr. Surviving are his three children, Kathleen (Philip Claypool) Dekker, Danny (Debbie) McDermott, Lynetta (Kurt) McCamman; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
