Martha Jean (Austin) Middleton

Martha Jean Middleton, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at her home in Vicksburg, MI surrounded by those she loved. She was 70. She was born on September 2, 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In December 1967 she married Alfred L. Middleton Sr, and together they had 6 children: Mary Barrett, Alfred L. Middleton Jr, Dewey Richard Middleton, Earnest McKay Middleton, Dorothy Edna Jane Servant and Issac Elvin Middleton. Martha is survived by her husband, Alfred, her six children as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Ira Austin, Dorothy Kollin, Jane Curtis, Robert Austin and Arthur Austin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vesta Austin, siblings, Jerry Austin and Shirley Gibbs, as well as granddaughter December Zablocki. Martha loved her cooking especially during holiday meals, crafts and she loved to attend tractor shows. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knows her. A memorial service will not be held. Martha's request is that people will give their condolences to her husband and to know she is in heaven with her Mother, Vesta Austin.
