Jackson, Michigan Died Wednesday morning, July 30, 2008. Marlo was born in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Henry and Trina Zomer Wolthuis. She loved her family and her pets. Marlo had a beautiful gift shop for many years in Jackson, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Rick Alan and by six brothers, Bill, Richard, Lawrence, John, David and Jim. Marlo is survived by her sons, Thomas Susan and Mark Carleen; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Donna Dean Chapman, Elsie Bill Kohllar and brothers, Albert Jackie, Paul Barb, Tim, Terry Jean, Jerry Doris and Daniel Libby. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 3, 1:30 pm at Alamo Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marlo's memory be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
