KLINE, Marsha Lorene
Of Portage Passed away Tuesday morning, October 12, 2010 at her residence. Marsha was born June 25, 1950 the daughter of John and Francile Parker Kline who preceded her in death. Our lives aren't about our bodies or how they function or how they look; nor is our life about our minds and what great or small things we accomplish. God only asks that we use our bodies and our minds to the best of our ability being thankful that we have them. What life is really about is our hearts and what we hold in it, our faith and our families, friends, people we barely know and people we have yet to meet. Our lives are about how much we have loved unselflessly. While her body and her mind may not have functioned as ours, in many ways the love Marsha gave and the love she absorbed far exceeded anything one could hope for here on earth. There are no words that measure the depth of appreciation, love, amazement, and gratitude for the ROI staff that nurtured, cared for, and loved Marsha. You are family. Through all the tears, the laughter, trips, meals, appointments, picnics, and house activities... you were there. May God bless all of you for your special hearts and compassion, skill and love. We will never forget you and all you did for Marsha and continue to do for others. Marsha is survived by her sister, Lynette David Vickery; nephew, Chad Vickery; nieces, Chelsea Vickery, Lindsey Nate Cole; an aunt, Marilyn Kline; an uncle William Delach; and several cousins. Private family burial of cremains will be in South Portage Cemetery. A celebration of Marsha's life and a meal will be held at 3:30 Saturday, October 23, 2010, at her residence, 1233 W. Osterhout. Memorials may be directed to ROI or Kalamazoo Community Advocates. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre.
