BRADEEN, Marlin A.
of Kalamazoo Passed away August 14, 2010 at his home. He was born April 20, 1931 in Kalamazoo, to the late Allen and Beulah Maine Bradeen. Marlin was united in marriage on April 2, 1960 to Janice, who preceded him in death in 2002. Marlin served 2 tours in the U.S. Air Force, where, among others, served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Surviving Marlin are his children, John Janet Bradeen of Louisville, MS and Gene Bradeen of Kalamazoo; 2 grandsons, Danny Amy Emmons, Jr., and Kevin Emmons; 1 great granddaughter, Kennedy Emmons; brothers, Rex Charlotte Bradeen, Lyle Rose Bradeen and Lynn Bradeen; sister, Beverly Meadows; daughter-in-law, Vivian Emmons; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Marlin in death was a son, Danny Emmons, Sr. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Graveside services will take place Thursday, 11:00 o'clock, at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
