Mark Kevin Hamilton, age 65 of Schoolcraft, died on August 21, 2024. He was born on March 5, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Ronald and Molly (Robyn) Hamilton. He grew up in the Richland area and played little league coached by his father. Mark was a 1977 graduate of Gull Lake High School and attended Western Michigan University. He was a union carpenter and specialized in drywall installation. On November 16, 2013, he married his partner of 25 years, Cindy Riffle and they shared another 10 years together until his death. Mark enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle; He was a great drummer and enjoyed hours of drumming to music in his basement drum room. Mark spent many hours fishing in his boat on Lake Michigan. He also liked to go to the Paw Paw Gun Club and the Lakes Area Conservation Club where he even helped care for the lawn and clubhouse. He achieved high scores and was passionate about shooting. He will be dearly missed by his family including his wife, Cindy Riffle; his parents: Ronald and Molly Hamilton; his sister Heidi (Jamie) Howe; his niece Ali (Jake) Wolfzorn; and his nephew Jake Schwoebel; his stepdaughter Jamie Tulla and his grandson Jonathan Tulla. He was preceded in death by his stepson Brian Riffle. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Sunday, September 29th from 3:00-6:00 PM at Main Street Pub, 5462 Gull Road, Kalamazoo.
