Marjorie L. Myers Stevens Kalamazoo Marjorie Lois Stevens passed away April 14, 2012 at The Springs at Bronson Place in Kalamazoo, Ml. She was born February 16, 1912 in Kalamazoo, MI, the oldest of 8 siblings born to Casper L. and Anna Mae Myers; and had just recently celebrated her 100th birthday in February with friends and family. She worked for 23 years at Checker Motor Co. until her retirement. She is survived by two sons: Fredrick Betty Stevens of Indian River, Ml and Michael Francelia Stevens of Milner, GA; four grandchildren: Annette Marie Mitchell, Michelle Doug Daniels, Tammie Ben Marvin, Brian Renee Stevens; eleven great-grandchildren, Jade and Char Stevens, Alexander and Matthew Mitchell, Amanda and A.J. Daniels, Joseph and Devon Marvin, Joshua, Jeffrey and Amanda Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Fredrick T. Stevens in 1988; one grandson, Mark Stevens in 2011; and all of siblings: Wilma Davis, John Myers, William Myers, Glenis Crandall, Casper Myers, Norma Dekker, and Frank Myers. She will be missed by her special friend and neighbor, Doris Hancox and her family. The family wishes to thank The Springs at Bronson Place for their kind and excellent care. Friends may visit with the family at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
