SARLE, Marjorie Anne
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away peacefully November 30, 2008 at Heritage Community Care Center, surrounded by her family. She was born February 26, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Walter and Thelma Ruff. Marjorie was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Saginaw. She was employed with Saginaw Public Schools as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed knitting, reading and bird-watching. She especially adored her grandchildren and her pets. Surviving Marjorie are her children, Stephen Marlene Sarle of Summerfield, FL., Cynthia Fred Bierlein of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Stacy Marvin Young, Aaron Jillian Sarle, Tobin Sarle, Heidi Jon Wuggazer, Anna Jamie Koning and Benjamin Jessie Bierlein; great grandchildren, Alexi Zeluff, Delaney Shafer and Elizabeth Bierlein; 1 brother, Walter Ruff; and a sister, Kathryn Swift who preceded her in death; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 3rd, from 5-8:00pm and Thursday, December 4th, from 9:30-10:00am preceding the funeral service at 10:00am, both at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. A committal service will be at Oakwood Mausoleum, in Saginaw, Michigan on Thursday, December 4th, at 4:00pm with a visitation from 3:30 until 4:00pm.
