Marjorie (Hall) DeRyke, age 95, was born August 17, 1928, In Flint, MI.
She and her husband, Rev. Gerald Hall (deceased 1985), were married in 1946 and is survived by five daughters: Dini Visscher (Paul, deceased 2018), Brenda Urness (Ric); Bethany Timmerman (Michael), Alta Herrick (Stan), and Melissa Nyhoff (Brian). They also lost an infant daughter, Sharon Jo, deceased in 1950. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. In 1987, Marjorie married Bill DeRyke (deceased in 2000).
Marjorie owned her own ceramic shop and taught ceramics to others. She especially loved it when her children and grandchildren gathered around her table and painted pieces for themselves.
Marjorie's greatest joy was serving the Lord alongside her pastor-husband, Gerald, for 22 years by teaching youth, especially children.
A private family viewing is scheduled at Langeland Family Funeral Home, followed by her interment next to her loving husband at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park in Kalamazoo.
