HODGES, Marissa Lee "Tweet Tweet"
Born February 25th, 2011 Marissa was granted her angel wings September 6th, 2012 in the arms of her mother. Though only here for a short time she brightened the lives of family and friends with her smile and fighting spirit. Marissa was the sunshine in her parent's life and when they were near Marissa's eyes would light up. Marissa had strength that amazed family from the day she was born. In her short life she was given so many obstacles to overcome, and she always found her own way to do things never letting anything slow her down. Her mom loved reading to her and Marissa would get so excited to turn the page and point at the next picture. Her face would light up every time her dad would call her "tweet tweet" before going to work. Her cousin's were a huge part of her life and she always kept up rolling after them until they all were laughing. Her smile, laugh, and joy she brought our lives will be missed every day. She will always be loved, cherished and forever be in our hearts and memories. Marissa is survived by her loving parents Jennifer and Terry Hodges; grandparents Jim and Jean Peterman, David and Sally Walker, Earl and Debbie Hodges; great-grandparents Frank Manzullo, Robert and Betty Walker, and Frank and Helen Peterman; aunts and uncles, Nicole and Ruben Martinez, David Walker, Heather Peterman, Kaylee Peterman, Josh Peterman, Brad Hodges and Jeremiah Eckert; special cousin's, Ruben, Mya, and Kenadie Martinez.
