Marilyn Ann (Meyers) Meyers

Marilyn Ann Meyers, 79, passed away April 2, 2020. She was born April 2, 1941 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Hannes and Anna (Baker) Meyers.

Marilyn graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and began her administrative career with Gordon Deur, O.D. in 1959 until she began work with Kalamazoo College from 1973-1975. She then worked for Asgrow Seed Company from 1975 until 1997, when she retired. After her official retirement, she worked as a contractor at Pfizer from 1998-2004. Marilyn enjoyed needlepoint, art fairs, going to movies, and time with family and friends. She especially loved going for long rides in the country, shopping for jewelry, and her puppies.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Klaas Meyers.

Marilyn is survived by her significant other, Tim Peroutka; her brothers, Hannes III (Marjorie), Gerald (Dee), and Clarence (Susan) Meyers; a special niece, Janet McKenzie; as well as other many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo at 2:00 PM.
