Marilyn Kay Doonan

DOONAN, Marilyn Kay Of Portage Passed away Thursday afternoon, May 24, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Marilyn was born October 15, 1940 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Thomas and Garnet Layne Taylor. She worked for 20 years as the office manager for the Glowing Ambers Girl Scout Council and enjoyed traveling, ceramics, and collecting carousel horses. She is survived by 2 children, Rick Cathy Doonan, Michelle Doonan; 2 grandchildren, Reanna and Abigail; a brother, Tom Jan Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 o?clock Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street with Pastor Bryan Craddock officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Westside Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, or to a special needs fund for Marilyn?s daughter, Michelle.
