Marilyn A. Curry

Marilyn, age 88, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 25, 1936, the daughter of the late William and Alberta (Triestram) Forsman. Marilyn loved attending her grandson’s sporting events and spending time with family and her granddog, Carl. She also enjoyed lunches with friends and family, a game of cards, taking care of the home that she lived in for 67 years, and for many years a round of golf and bowling with friends. On April 12, 1957, Marilyn married Russell Curry, who preceded her in death after 60 years of marriage on May 21, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Forsman. Marilyn is survived by her son, James (Carrie) Curry; grandson, Andrew Curry; sisters in-law, Marva Curry, Sharon Curry, and Karren Forsman, as well as several nieces and nephews. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public viewing or services. A private committal service will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
