Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday morning March 19, 2015. Marie was born August 3, 1926 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Angelo and Vincinzina DiSalvo Schero. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the James River Corporation for 38 years before retiring. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Cummins on June 3, 1996; 2 brothers, Andrew and Robert; and a sister, Pauline. She is survived by a sister, Rosalie Bob Galich of Kalamazoo; a brother, Johnny Carole Schero of Kalamazoo; a special niece, Cheryl Dale Westbrook of Parchment; and several other nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 10-11:00 Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Private burial will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank a dear special friend, Rand Green for her compassionate and loving care of Marie.
