QUERTERMUS, Marie H.
of Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday morning, December 22, 2009 at Upjohn Community Care Center. Marie was born February 8, 1918 in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur and Helen Buszin. Marie was married to Carl Quertermus, who preceded her in death in April of 2009. Surviving Marie are her children, Carl Quertermus, PhD., of Carrollton, GA and Dr. John Susan Quertermus of Richland; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Grace Pierce, and; daughter-in-law, Mary Quertermus. Also preceding Marie in death was a son, Richard Quertermus. Funeral services will be private and burial will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest cemetery. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. Memorials in Marie's name may be directed to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
