Portage, Michigan Died Sunday evening July 27, 2008. Marie was born June 19, 1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Leo and Ruth Genthenburg Hacht. In 1966, she graduated from Portage Central High School and had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was united in marriage to David L. Harvey who survives. Also surviving, 2 sisters, Hazel Norman Harvey and Jo Gerold Harvey all of Lawton; 2 aunts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held 2 o'clock Wednesday in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Memorials may be directed to the S.P.C.A. of Southwest Michigan. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
