Kalamazoo Passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 in Kalamazoo. She was born September 13, 1910 in Chicago, the daughter of Glenn and Francis Rollberg Nash and was a resident of the Kalamazoo area since 1933. Marguerite was employed by Borgess Hospital for many years in the mail room. In 1933, she married Webb K. White and they were later divorced. Later in life, she married Emery Cherrington, who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David K. White; a son who died at birth; and a brother. Marguerite is survived by her son, Michael Patricia White of Kalamazoo; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11:00 AM in the Galesburg Congregational United Church of Christ, 22 S. Church St., Galesburg, with Rev. Whitney Brown officiating. Interment will take place in Robinson Cemetery, Gobles. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 145 West Battle Creek St., Galesburg on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the Salvation Army.
