PEACOCK, Margaret V.
Kalamazoo Went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 1, 2007 at Park Place Assisted Living in Kalamazoo. Margaret was born April 18, 1913 in Lawton, MI, a daughter of the late Otis and Frances A. Garvin Peacock. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1932. She went on to become a label inspector and clerk for Upjohn Pharmaceuticals for over 30 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had been active in areas such as being a Sunday School teacher, Librarian, Deaconess and was happy to serve wherever needed. She was also an alumnus of the Moody Bible Institute. Surviving Margaret is her sister, Louise A. Peacock of Portage; nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by; brothers, Thomas Ritchel Rice Peacock, John Pearl ?Margie? Hutchinson Peacock and her brother George Peacock has been classified as Missing in Action, over China, since WWII. Private graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Friday, 11:00AM, Rev. Dana Arledge, officiating. Arrangements are by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel., 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Memorials may be directed in Margaret?s name, to Bethel Baptist Church, 402 S.
