KIEVIT, Margaret E. "Peggy"
Of Paw Paw, MI Died peacefully February 16, 2009 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, after a five year struggle with cancer, with her family and best friend Kryn by her side. Peggy was a very determined woman with a rich smile who never needed a lot of material things to make her happy. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She loved to work in the yard and see the sunshine. She was an immaculate housekeeper and a lover of animals, adopting and caring for many pets throughout her life. She was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church and chose this day to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was 49 years old. She is survived by her husband, Kryn Kievit; her parents, Chuck and Jan Finke; a sister, Beth Peter Bender; her loving and wonderful children Jennica Skoug, 24, and Eric Shannon Awrylo Skoug, 22; a step-son, K.C. Kievit, 22, and many other maternal and paternal relatives. Services will be held at 11:00 o'clock Friday at the 12th St. Baptist Church, 3911 S. 12th St. with Pastor Randy Burnett officiating.
Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may meet the family on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. 343-1508 Memorial contributions in Peggy's memory may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center, Rose Arbor Hospice or the 12th St. Baptist Church.
