HALL, Margaret A.
Of Portage Margaret passed away Tuesday morning, February 9, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born March 1, 1920 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Leo and Josephine LaFarina Longo. On August 20, 1948, Margaret was united in marriage to Richard Hall in Kalamazoo. She was employed by Kalamazoo State Hospital for over 40 years until her retirement win 1982. She was a longtime member of St. Monica Catholic Church and the Kalamazoo PBX Club. Surviving are her sister, Kathleen Ken Singleton of Ft. Meyers, FL; niece, Carolyn Ron Wilson of Vicksburg; nephew, Jim Laura Henderson of Grandville; and four grand nieces and nephews, Melissa, Travis, Sarah, and Jimmy. Preceding her in death were her husband of 32 years, Dr. Richard Hall; her parents; and niece, Nancy Gates. Funeral services for Margaret will be at 2:00 PM on Friday tomorrow at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, with Father Arthur Howard officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
