Vicksburg, MI Passed away on June 6, 2014. Age 74. Margaret was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania on September 30, 1939, the daughter of the late Thomas P. McKay and Phyllis Rogers McKay. She was employed by Bronson Hospital for 23 years. Following her retirement from Bronson, she went to work for Felpausch Grocery Store. She attended Community Baptist Church in Vicksburg. She loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed canning and baking, especially baking pumpkin rolls. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Danny Lee Grubb; her son, Danny Lee Grubb Jr. of Portage; one brother and two sisters, Tim McKay of Rochester, N.H., Mary Jane Slanczka of Ohio and Virginia Keener of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister, Phillip McKay and Marie Spooner. Friends may visit with the family from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Avenue, Portage, MI 49002. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the funeral chapel. Pastor Harold Brown will officiate with interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
