Margaret H. Bowen

BOWEN, Margaret H. Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday morning April 21, 2007 at her residence. Margaret was born November 29, 1907 in Derby, Connecticut a daughter of Ross and Lorilla Newcomb Bowen. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Shakespeare Company for 45 years before retiring. She loved animals, enjoyed listening to big band music, and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold Monahan; and a lifelong friend, Marion Taffee. She is survived by a niece, Margaret Ken Schaden of Ohio; many other nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Services will be held 1 o?clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society or Hospice of Greater Kalamazoo.
