BAU, Mrs. Margaret E.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday evening January 21, 2011. Margaret was born November 16, 1923 in Glidden, Wisconsin a daughter of William and Margaret Pregent Fleury. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 4 years and most recently resided at the Sojourner House. Margaret was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Alroy W. Bau on November 24, 2009; a daughter, Patricia Threlkel in 2004; 2 sisters, Betty and Ruth; and a brother, Jerry. Margaret is survived by a son, Alan Brenda Bau of Kalamazoo; a son-in-law, Larry Threlkel of Elkton, KY; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Kimberly, and Wendy; 8 great-grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Emma, Dominic, Elizabeth, Kayla, Kortney, and Carter; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Lois Abitz of Oregon, Carol Rein of Glidden, WI, Bill Joann Fleury of Illinois, and Jim Fleury and John Linda Fleury all of Orgeon; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Diabetes Association.
