Marcia Jane Robinson

Marcia Jane (Halpert) Robinson, 89, of South Haven passed away June 20, 2019. She was born May 19, 1930 in Kalamazoo to the late Isadore and Agnes (Rose) Halpert.

She spent the last 40 years as an active member of the South Haven community. She was a volunteer and member of many organizations including the Scott Club, the Maritime Museum, Garden Club of South Haven, S.H.O.U.T., Bronson South Haven Hospital, and the First Hebrew Congregation.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Richard Robinson in 1993; son, Charles Robinson in 1991; daughter-in-law, Mary C. Robinson in 1999; and special friend, James Stewart in 2010.

She is survived by her sons, James (Suzanne) Robinson, Thomas (Marianna) Robinson, and Kenneth Robinson; grandchildren, Matthew (Julie), Sara (John), Andrew, Christopher, and Cameron (Cambria); and great-grandchildren, Lucy, Samantha, Owen, and Avery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 12-1:00 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.
