of Portage Passed away October 3, 2012 at the age of 54. He was born April 12, 1958 in Kalamazoo to Robert "Bob" and Ruth Allen Colvin. He was united in marriage to Deanna Nowakowski in 1995, who survives. Marc enjoyed being with family and going to family gatherings above all else. He was owner of C Siding & Roofing. Also surviving Marc are his daughter, Autumn Colvin; mother, Ruth Colvin; brothers, Dana Colvin, Gordon Jan Colvin and James "Al" Madlyn Colvin; sisters, Phyllis Ehrnstrom, Sharon Bill Fike and Deb Steve Langeland; mother and father-in-law, Hurlon Dorla Nowakowski; brother and sisters-in-laws, Laurie Paul Evans, Todd Tresa Nowakowski and Pat Colvin; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Marc in death were his father, Bob; and brother, Robert "Bobby" Colvin. Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where a memorial service will take place on Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock. Memorials in Marc's name may be directed to the family for his daughter's college education.
