Of Kalamazoo Mamie passed away Friday evening, August 13, 2010 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born August 22, 1918 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of Augustus H. and Henrietta Ogle Smith. Mamie was employed by Georgia Pacific Paper Co. for 23 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Kalamazoo Eagles Aeries #2237, Portage VFW Post #5855, and Kalamazoo/Portage Moose Lodge Ladies Aux. #350. Mamie was married to Richard W. Streeter Sr. on Nov. 20, 1937 until his passing on Sept. 24, 1991. She then married Lloyd L. Burke on August 25, 1998, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters Rosetta K. Streeter and Barbara A. Overhiser; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Private family interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
