Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning February 23, 2010 at her residence. Madelyn was born June 28, 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Burdell and Arlene Hodge Hunt. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Bronson Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1995. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church in Otsego. Madelyn was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Jason Gwynn. She is survived by 2 daughters, Priscilla and Jeffrey Stewart of Parchment and Katherine and Patrick Nelson of Comstock; 3 grandchildren, Kourtnie, Mary, and Jessica; and 2 sisters, Marcia Gwynn of Oshtemo and Marilyn and Michael LaDuke of Plainwell. Services will be held 1 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday. Private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Otsego First Congregational Church. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
